Persona 3 Reload Special Fusion Recipes

For a Persona 3 Reload special fusion, gather every exact named material. Alice uses Pixie, Lilim, Narcissus and Titania through Special Fusion; Messiah uses Orpheus plus Thanatos through Normal Fusion after Judgement Rank 10. The tables below separate those menus and list each target’s base level and recorded unlock. Register useful materials before consuming them, and match DLC settings when preparing ordinary-fusion ingredients.

Choose the correct Velvet Room menu

A Persona 3 Reload special fusion list can include recipes that are special because their ingredients are fixed, even when the game uses Normal Fusion for them. Messiah and Shiva each have two named materials. Use Normal Fusion for those pairs. Alice, Thanatos and Orpheus Telos require larger fixed sets and belong in the Special Fusion menu. The menu column below makes that distinction explicit.

Quick steps

  1. For multi-Persona Special Fusion, gather every exact named material: Alice needs Pixie, Lilim, Narcissus and Titania. Prepare Alice’s four ingredients.

  2. For the fixed two-Persona Messiah recipe, use Orpheus + Thanatos through Normal Fusion after Judgement Rank 10. A fixed recipe does not always mean the Special Fusion menu. Check Messiah’s menu and unlock.

  3. Check unlocks on the target and its materials before summoning. Masakado requires Request #87; his later Request #98 also needs Charge inherited through a material. Follow the Masakado Charge chain.

Prepare every named material

For a Persona 3 Reload special fusion with multiple ingredients, another Persona from the same arcana is not a replacement. Alice needs Pixie, Lilim, Narcissus and Titania specifically. Thanatos needs six named materials, including Alice. Use the linked target guide for the full plan or open an ingredient as a calculator target to find a preparation recipe matching your stock and installed content.

Check unlocks on the target and its ingredients

A Persona 3 Reload special fusion can have more than one preparation gate across its material chain. Metatron requires Aeon Rank 10, and his material Michael has a linked-episode unlock. Masakado requires clearing Elizabeth’s Request #87. Check the final target and each missing material separately. Completing a material’s unlock does not automatically satisfy the final target’s own Social Link or request condition.

Register shared materials before consuming them

When planning a Persona 3 Reload special fusion chain, look for ingredients used twice at different stages. Thanatos is used to make Messiah, then both appear in the final Orpheus Telos set. Register Thanatos before the Messiah fusion and summon him again afterward. A Compendium registration preserves the recorded build and prevents you from having to rebuild the earlier material chain to recover the Persona.

Keep ingredient levels and protagonist levels separate

For a Persona 3 Reload special fusion, the table’s result level is the target’s base level. Check your protagonist’s ability to fuse that level before paying to summon every ingredient. Training a named material can add useful skills, but the material remains the same named ingredient. Review the resulting fusion level and inherited skills in the preview before confirming the final combination.

Use DLC settings for intermediate pairs

A Persona 3 Reload special fusion recipe keeps its fixed named materials. DLC settings matter when normal fusion is used to create those materials, because added Personas can change ordinary result brackets. If a pair gives the wrong intermediate target, follow the DLC guide and match the packs in the calculator. Do not change the final fixed recipe to compensate for a mismatch earlier in the chain.

Choose skills before making the final result

The Persona 3 Reload special fusion material list also determines which eligible inherited skills are available. Decide what you want the final Persona to do, inspect the materials’ current skills and register useful builds first. On the inheritance screen, explicitly choose the desired skills. A valid material list proves the target can be made; it does not guarantee that every useful ingredient skill appears on the finished copy.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find all the special fusion materials?

The Persona 3 Reload special fusion tables below list every fixed recipe in this site’s The Journey base-game data. Each material links to its dedicated guide when available or to the calculator as a target. DLC-only targets are excluded from this base-game list; select matching packs in the calculator to inspect those rosters.

Why is Messiah listed with Normal Fusion?

The Persona 3 Reload special fusion reference separates fixed recipes from the game’s menu names. Messiah uses the fixed pair Orpheus plus Thanatos through Normal Fusion. Shiva likewise uses Rangda plus Barong. Multi-material recipes such as Alice and Thanatos use Special Fusion instead.

What if a listed recipe is locked?

Check the recorded target unlock, your protagonist level and the individual material unlocks. A dash in the unlock column means this dataset lists no additional condition for that target; it is not a waiver of the level requirement or a promise that every material is already available.

Can I substitute another Persona with the same arcana?

No. A Persona 3 Reload special fusion with fixed ingredients requires those exact names. Use ordinary fusion to make missing materials, register them, then gather the full listed set. The calculator can show alternate normal preparation pairs without changing the final fixed ingredients.
